In cooperation with major gasket material manufacturers, Vellumoid functions in a "one stop shopping" capacity, distributing to over 600 North American gasket and sealing product fabricators. This responsibility encompasses the distribution of over 60 materials which makes Vellumoid one of the largest distributors of gasket materials in the world.
One of our largest gasket material manufacturers, Interface Solutions, Inc. (formerly Armstrong Industrial Specialties, Inc.) has built a reputation for technical excellence. In the 1980's, they revolutionized soft gasket products by leading the way in developing nonasbestos materials. In the early 1990's, they completely changed perceptions about soft gaskets with a new technology that produced a quantum increase in sealability. Today their technical tradition continues.
